Q: How is the PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) different from the PTA (Parent Teacher Association)? 

A:  Comparatively, the PTA (a nationally recognized organization) & LTS Northwest Tucson PTO are both 501(c)3 non-profit organizations that raise funds to help support schools, teachers, and staff. Conversely, the PTO is different from the PTA in that we do not require a membership fee to be a part of the organization. Every parent, teacher, and staff member at Legacy is automatically included as a member of the PTO.
