David Faldet
will present: FOUR AMERICAN NATIONS IN
ONE LOCAL FAMILY.
Historian Colin Woodard argues that the U.S.A. is a
country made up of eleven contrasting nations.
This talk will consider how four such nations (Yankee, Tidewater,
Appalachian, and Midlands) came together in one rural Decorah family. If it is true that we carry inside us those
who came before us, what are the implications for family members? This is a
Decorah Genealogy Program.
