"United in Purpose. Unstoppable for Kids."
The LEEP Afterschool Program provides high-quality academic support, enrichment, and structured activities for students in grades K–5. Our goal is to support working families, strengthen academic skills, and offer engaging experiences that help children grow socially, emotionally, and creatively.
We operate a full-week model, when school is in session, to maintain stable staffing ratios and guarantee that every child receives the same level of support and opportunity each day.
The LEEP Afterschool Program extends learning beyond the school day by creating safe, vibrant, and enriching spaces where every child feels supported, challenged, and celebrated. Rooted in our core values—love/cariño, respect, courage, gratitude, and joy—we nurture the whole child through academic support, creative exploration, and community building.
We believe the hours after school are a powerful opportunity to strengthen and uplift our entire community. Our team shows up with hope, energy, and purpose—ready to inspire students, support families, and work side by side with staff. Guided by our core values, we rise to challenges with creativity, compassion, and collaboration. Every moment after school becomes a chance to spark possibility, deepen belonging, and remind our students what’s possible when passion, teamwork, and heart come together.
United in Purpose. Unstoppable for Kids.

Full-Year Tuition
The LEEP Afterschool Program is a 5‑day, full‑week program. Families must register for all five days to ensure safe staffing ratios and consistent access to enrichment and academic support.
Tuition & Registration Fee
Tuition: $2,500 for the full 10‑month program (September 14, 2026 – June 18, 2027)*
Registration Deposit: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required within one week of registration to secure your child’s seat. This $100 deposit is applied directly toward your tuition balance. Failure to pay within one week will result in forfeiting the seat, and it will be offered to the next student on the waitlist.
To ensure fairness and consistency, all past Afterschool balances must be paid prior to registering for the 2026–27 program. Families may only register and secure a seat once all previous balances have been fully paid.
*Afterschool operates only on days when school is in session. Please check the LEEP's School Calendar for all “No School” days and early dismissals.

November 16: $600
December 16: $600

Why Tuition Must Be paid in Full by December:
Completing tuition by December 16 allows us to stay fully focused on delivering a high‑quality program rather than spending time on mid‑year billing and follow‑ups. It also secures stable staffing and supports consistent program operations through the school year. Finally, having tuition settled by December ensures we can prepare accurate tax letters for families in January, which many use when filing childcare expenses.
Sibling Discount
Families with more than one child enrolled in the Afterschool Program receive a 10% discount on the tuition of each additional sibling.
The discount is applied to the second child’s tuition (and any additional siblings) and is available for both the pay‑in‑full option and the monthly payment plan.
Late Payment Fee
A $50 late fee will be applied to any payment not received by the due date.
Late Pickup Fee
To ensure fairness for staff and maintain safe supervision ratios, a late pickup fee will be charged when students are picked up after program hours.
Afterschool ends at 5:45 PM Monday–Friday.
Late Pickup Fee Amount: $25 for every 15 minutes past 5:45 PM
This fee reflects the combined cost of staff and security coverage required when pickup occurs after program hours.
Examples
Pickup at 5:50 PM → $25
Pickup at 6:05 PM → $50
Pickup at 6:20 PM → $75
Families with repeated late pickups may be required to meet with the Afterschool Director to discuss continued enrollment.
Refund Policy: The $100 registration deposit and all tuition payments are strictly non-refundable. Once paid, fees cannot be refunded or reimbursed under any circumstances, including voluntary withdrawal, schedule changes, or student absences.
Enrolling in the LEEP Afterschool Program is a simple process, but space is limited! Please review the steps and policy guidelines below to secure your child’s spot for the 2026–2027 school year.
Step 1: Review Enrollment Policies & Timelines
Step 2: Submit the Afterschool Interest Form
Step 3: Attend Mandatory Afterschool Family Orientation
Step 1: Enrollment Policies & Timelines
The Afterschool Interest Form is for planning purposes only. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on the timestamp of your submission. The deadline to submit this form is Sunday, August 23. Submissions received after this date may be placed on a waiting list depending on responses received or program capacity. A formal registration form will be sent at a later date to finalize enrollment.
Once you receive the official registration form, you will have 7 business days to complete it and submit payment. Otherwise, the spot will be forfeited and offered to the next student on the waitlist.
Step 2: Afterschool Interest Form
Step 3: Attend Mandatory Afterschool Family Orientation
To ensure a smooth transition and full alignment on safety, dismissal, and academic expectations, at least one parent or guardian is required to attend our mandatory Afterschool Family Orientation.
In Person: Thursday, August 27 at 5:00 PM
Via Zoom: Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Meeting ID: 829 0358 0891
Answer: Yes, your child is welcome to attend 2 or 3 days a week; however, tuition remains the full 5-day rate. Because we reserve a seat exclusively for your child every day to prevent overcrowding, we must hire and schedule our aferschool counselors for the entire week to maintain safe, legally required student-to-staff ratios regardless of individual daily attendance.
Answer: No. Both the $100 registration deposit and all tuition payments are non-refundable. The deposit secures your child’s spot in the program and is applied directly toward your tuition balance. Once paid, tuition payments cannot be reimbursed if you decide to cancel, withdraw, or not participate.
Answer: If a student is absent from school, they cannot attend Afterschool that day.
Answer: Yes! Daily snacks are provided for all enrolled students. If your child has specific dietary restrictions, severe allergies, or personal preferences, you are also welcome to send them with an extra nut-free snack each day.
Answer: Pickup takes place daily at 5:45 PM. Authorized adults listed on the student’s registration form must present a valid photo ID at pickup and sign the student out.
Answer: Please notify the Afterschool team immediately if you are delayed. A late pickup fee of $25 for every 15 minutes past 5:45 PM will be applied to cover extended staffing and security coverage.
Answer: Students should bring their school backpack, homework materials, a refillable water bottle, and a positive attitude! All activity and culinary supplies are provided.
Note: On special event or celebration days, we may occasionally invite families to send voluntary food or snack donations to share with the group!
Answer: Students without assigned homework engage in quiet reading, journaling, or educational logic puzzles during the dedicated academic block.
Answer: Our staff will always do their best to support students during homework time — offering guidance, answering questions, and encouraging them to stay focused. However, Afterschool is a group setting, and we cannot force students to complete their homework if they are unwilling or not ready to engage.
Parent partnership is important. We ask families to speak with their children about cooperating during homework time and using that period responsibly. This helps students build strong habits and ensures they make the most of the academic support offered in the program.
Answer: Placements are based on internal staff referrals and daily homework observations to ensure targeted support for students who need it most.
Answer: No. Afternoon school bus service is not provided for afterschool participants. All students must be picked up in person by an authorized adult at 5:45 PM following our pickup code protocol.
Answer: Dismissals take place strictly at designated times:
Monday–Thursday: 4:45 PM and 5:45 PM
Friday: 3:45 PM, 4:45 PM, and 5:45 PM
All students are automatically dismissed at 5:45 PM. If you plan to pick up your child at an earlier window (4:45 PM Mon–Thu or 3:45 PM Fri), please notify us ahead of time by emailing Afterschool@Leepschools.org. Remember to bring your unique pickup code, state your student's full name, and sign them out daily!
Answer: We strictly enforce scheduled dismissal times to protect your child’s daily routine. Allowing students to complete their enrichment activities uninterrupted provides them with predictability, consistency, and a sense of closure before transitioning home. Frequent or unscheduled early pickups pull students out of activities mid-lesson, disrupt their focus, and interfere with the group's learning environment.
Answer: All changes to your child’s Afterschool schedule or dismissal plan must be emailed to Afterschool@leepschools.org no later than 11:30 AM.
This deadline applies every day, Monday through Friday, to ensure staff have enough time to update rosters and prepare for safe dismissal.
