1. When entering the library with your class, walk in a straight line with no talking.
2. Stop at the checkout desk so the class roll can be checked.
3. When the librarian is talking, you are to be quiet so the other students can hear what is being said,
4. If you are returning books, lay them on the calendar on the checkout desk and then get a stick (shelf place holder) and get your new books.
5. If you don’t have library books already checked out, get a stick (shelf place holder) and get your books.
6. If you didn’t bring books back, go to the long tables and sit down while the other students get their books and check them out.
7. Always use sticks when looking for books in the library. Be sure to return the sticks to the cans where you got them.
8. When sitting at the tables, keep the legs of the chairs on the floor. When leaving at the end of class, push your chairs back under the tables.
9. If you come to the library on a library pass, walk quietly in the halls and enter the library quietly. Put your pass in the basket that matches the color of your pass (green, red, blue or yellow). Follow the other rules listed above.
