Educational services are the second largest industry, accounting for about 13 million jobs. The educational services industry includes a variety of institutions that offer academic education, vocational or career and technical instruction and other education and training to millions of students each year. Institutions include elementary, middle and secondary schools.
There are three courses in the TAP Pathway: Examining the Teaching Profession (Level 1), Contemporary Issues in Education (Level 2), and Teaching as a Profession Practicum (Level 3). This site is dedicated for Level 2 & Level 3 courses only. You will find this site to be very useful during the year. Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)
FCCLA is the Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) associated with the Teaching as a Profession Pathway. Our CTSO dues are $25 for the year, and we will incorporate many concepts from FCCLA into the Pathway. Click the FCCLA logo to the left to learn more about this organization.
Future Georgia Educators (FGE)
FGE (formerly know as Future Educators of America) purpose is to identify, recruit, prepare and retain the next generation of Georgia’s teachers. FGE focuses specifically on Georgia students and educators. FGE is sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE). Dues for FGA are $10.
