We are excited to start the year! 8th grade can be a difficult year, but we strive to make it rewarding and to prepare our students for the rigor and expectations of high school. - Friday, September 7th - Picture Day
- Monday, September 10th - 14th - Spirit Week
- Tuesday, September 11th - progress reports
- September 25th- Clubs
- Friday, October 5th - early dismissal for fall break
- Friday, October 5th - October 9th - Fall break
- Wednesday, October 11th - 8th grade Mock Writing Test
- December 19th- 8th grade CFA test over 9 weeks and HS Physical Science Semester Exam.
7 MINDSETS
As a school system, we chose the 7 Mindsets program to help us teach social/emotional skills to our students through our PBIS Program. The 7 Mindsets is a social/emotional program to help students obtain the right mindset needed to have success in life as well as in school. Each month we will focus on a specific Mindset that we hope students will carry with them outside of school. Encourage your child to explain the mindset of the month to you and help him or her live by that standard.
