If you think libraries are boring and just for books, think again! The Ledyard libraries have much more to offer than many people know. When you go to the library, you can use free wifi, computers, study by yourself or with friends, and play games! A chess club is open for people of all ages too! Contests are held for smartphone photography, and there is a summer reading program that offers cool prizes. Also, if you would like to plant a garden, you can get free vegetable, flower, and herbs seeds. Lastly, If you are a fan of any local authors, some visit for book readings and will sign books! All in all, the Ledyard libraries have a lot more to offer than books. You should go visit some time!
