9Clare Way has been an Art & Design teacher for 7 years and has been at LECA for the past 5 of these. She has worked in a wide range of schools and educational settings in locations such as London, Cambridge and Hampshire. Her specialism is Fine Art but she also has a passion for photography and growing interest in ceramics. She firmly believes that everyone has creative potential; it's simply a case of finding what 'floats your boat' and then implementing lots of practice!

Likes: Interior design, Classic literature and adaptations, Kettle's Yard house, carrot cake, 'Strictly Come Dancing', classic musicals like 'Singing in the rain' and 'High Society', animals (but mostly dogs), chocolate, going to the Proms in the Summer, browsing charity shops and markets.
Dislikes: When people say they 'can't draw', chick lit, Radio 2, marzipan
Favourite Artists: Grayson Perry, Cornelia Parker, Henri Matisse, Paula Rego, Yinka Shonibare, Joseph Cornell, Yayoi Kusama, and the Pre Raphaelites such as Millais.
Debbie Bellaby has been an Art & Design teacher for 2 years and is a new teacher to LECA. She has worked at schools in Bury St Edmunds and Witchford. She has been teaching Art classes to adults for 2 years and workshops in schools for 4 years.
Having worked as a professional designer and illustrator. Her specialism is Illustration and drawing is at the heart of all her work. She also has a love of printmaking and a growing interest in textiles.

Likes: Kettles Yard house, fashion - especially Alexander McQueen, cats and horses, looking for a charity shop bargain, cafes, gardens and the Lake District. Inspired by an amazing trip to Japan, sushi and Studio Ghibli films. Marzipan.
Dislikes: rude people, lateness, burnt toast.
