Students have to determine if Andrew Jackson is an American villain or American hero based on what they learned in class.
First, students create a Fight Card by choosing a fictional villain to draw on the other side of Andrew Jackson's face. Then, students are asked to draw three symbols for both the villain and hero sides of the illustration. Finally, students write a TPEA where they express their stance on whether or not Andrew Jackson is an American hero or American villain using evidence and analysis to support their claim.
