Planning for the subjects students will take during the Career-related Programme involves all parties of the community: Teachers, Parents, and most critically, Students.
It is important to remember that the subjects students take in the final years at Bocage do not determine the career a student will eventually pursue. The courses should reflect a student's interests, aptitudes, and university plans. It is very important to remember that there are many and highly varied universities around the world. The requirements will also vary, leaving many options available for most students, should they research options with an open mind.
LBIS provides many subject options for students, but some may not be run from year to year, depending upon student interest. Further, there are prerequisites for the subjects tied to the outcome assessments in Form 5. As such, all courses requested by students are subject to school review and adjustments may be required.
