About Mrs. B

About Me:

I attended Lebanon Public schools from 6-12 grade and I am excited to be back! I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2015 my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. I completed my Master’s in Special Education with a concentration in Autism Studies at the University of Saint Joseph’s in the summer of 2017.

My first year out of college, I was a paraprofessional in a preschool classroom. I then spent two years teaching world language to preschool through third grade in East Haddam. Teaching world language was an exciting adventure for me, but was beyond thrilled to join LES as a special educator starting in the 2018-2019 school year.

My goal is to make strong bonds with my students and have a classroom where they feel confident, safe, and successful. Some of my mottos are, “Strive for progress, not perfection” and, “mistakes are proof that you are trying”.

When I’m not in my classroom, I enjoy photography, snowboarding, spending time with my husband, and snuggling with my 3 cats and 2 dogs. I love vacationing to Cape Cod, hiking, and going new places!
