Tips for Students:

• Current scholarship information will be posted as soon as it becomes available to the LHS Counseling Office.
• Seniors who are planning on completing a scholarship applications should contact their school counselor for assistance. If you would like for your counselor to review a scholarship application, please bring it to your counselor a week PRIOR to the deadline date. This will allow you to make any needed corrections and still meet the scholarship deadline.
• Students that do not have access to a computer may use the library computers.
• Any additional help or questions contact the LHS counseling staff at 417-657-6616.
• As scholarships become due, please be aware that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TURNING IN THE SCHOLARSHIP BY THE DEADLINE!
• Please turn in any local or community scholarships to Mr. Pitts by the deadline and he will deliver them to the donors.

Important Events

• Students that are 17-21 and meet income guidelines and have a barrier may be eligible for a work assistance program. See a school counselor for more information.
