My name is Mrs. Leon. I've been in education for over ten years. I've worked as a Children's Director at a non-profit organization, supervised in after-school programs, and have taught in public and charter elementary schools. I've taught grades TK all the way to 8th grade....yikes! Each group of students that I've taught, have enriched my experience as a professional!

I love building relationships with families, creating a strong triads. Engaging students in learning and having them personalize their education is my joy! I get students kinesthetically engaged, singing songs, and testing their knowledge through experiments and projects as they discover learning.

My second full-time job is being a wife and mom. I'm a proud mother of three beautiful girls and a toddler boy. They influence my teaching, helping me understand that each student is a unique learner. I'm blessed to have a superhero husband who inspires my creativity. We enjoy trying new foods, meeting new people and work together, on a mission to serve and love.
