My Summer Break in a Bag
- Student will select 5 items that remind them about their summer (items must be able to fit in the palm of one's hand).
- Write a brief description on a 3x5 card for each item. Describe what the item is (but keep it a surprise). Write why you selected the item.
- Bring this on the first day of class.
Get ready to have your friends try to guess your clues as to what index card matches which item :) Hide all your goodies and clues inside your bag.
Dress up a mini-me stuffed animal
Student will dress up their favorite stuffed animal and decorate it to represent themselves. Students will write a paragraph about how their stuffed animal represents them. (Think of it as a homemade build-a-bear, using things from home)
