Scholarship news

The Nanaimo Ladysmith Schools Foundation scholarships will open on January 15th at 9:00 am and close on February 23rd at noon. (Firm deadline)

Help sessions will be available on January 16th,17th, and 18th. These sessions will take place in room C102. Please sign up in room D201.

Schulich Leader Scholarship

If you are interested in being nominated for this scholarship, please look for the nomination application on the Grad Google Classroom. (One Dover Bay student will be nominated for this Scholarship)

 

A Schulich Leader Nominee represents the top entrepreneurial-minded STEM student in your graduating class and in turn becomes eligible to win a $100,000 or $80,000 scholarship. (click on the link for more information and criteria)

U of T National Book Award: Due date for nomination application to Mrs. Webb is October 3rd

 

Please review the following criteria below. If you qualify for this Book Award and would like to apply, you can find the nomination application and due date on the grad Google Classroom. Class code: egv767v

After reviewing the nominations, a committee will select one student that will be the recipient of the U of T Book award.

 

The recipient does not need to attend The University of Toronto to receive this award.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

§   an original and creative thinker

§   committed to school and community

§   a high achiever in academic and creative pursuits

§   enthusiastic about learning and intellectual exploration

§   a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person

§   currently in your final year of Canadian secondary school or first-year CEGEP

§   intending to begin university the following academic year

 

University of Toronto National Scholarship

·       Any student that is planning to attend the University of Toronto can apply for the TD National Scholarship (you do not need to be the recipient of the Book Award) applications are online.

 

·       The link to the online application for the 2024 National Scholarship competition will go live in mid-September 2023. Deadline is usually around the 20th of October so don’t miss out.
