The purpose of this community project is to develop positive personal and cultural identity through the sharing of individual stories of courage. Specifically, we are exploring how awareness, reflection, and developing a stronger sense of oneself improves acceptance of diverse societies. We are investigating how applying empathy in learning drives students’ appreciation and understanding of all world views with a special focus on Aboriginal Perspectives.
