This page is designed to help students with Dell Chromebooks borrowed from RBSS, but much of the info applies to any Chromebook. Try this routine to help maintain your Chromebook:

1. Make sure to use it on a flat hard surface, like a table. This allows the fan to vent and cool the device properly. Soft surfaces block the vents, as it smooches into the vent spaces!
2. Avoid adding a ton of extensions and apps, just add what you need to do your schoolwork. The more extensions you add the slower your Learn34 account and device will be.
3. Charge the Chromebook each night, on a table.
4. Whenever you are done for the day, SHUTDOWN your Chromebook instead of just logging off. This way it will run updates daily
