Summer Employment Programs
Bold Eagle- Army- Apply early. Deadline is in TBA. Pays youth 16 and older $4200 for successful completion of 6 weeks basic training (1 week is a culture camp) at Fort Wainwright, Alberta, a uniform and all accommodations, meals, and transportation there and back are provided. Participants can get external credits for their Dogwood as well.
Paid tuition, get paid while you study and have employment guaranteed when you graduate.
The Aboriginal Leadership Opportunities Year (ALOY) is a one-year educational and leadership experience through the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) in Kingston, Ontario. The ALOY program includes:
Sports
Field trips
Leadership development
Military training
Cultural support activities
Individual learning plans
