Below is the plan for the morning. Please follow the timeline for the morning with activities that are below:

• 8:55-9:00 Attendance and announcements as per normal

• 9:00-9:20 Watch the following video:  Terry Fox, Anything’s Possible

• 9:20-9:35 True and false slide show Terry Fox True False Slides

• 9:35-10:05 Colour a shoe and tape on door of your classroom; and write on sticker for the run

Shoe Outline can be found below if you do not have any in your mailbox.  

**Stickers will be delivered to your CREW class for your students to wear during the run.

• 10:05-10:30 other optional activities that you may choose for your CREW. 

  • File folder will be the photocopy room for you to choose from: colouring, word search

• 10:30-11:00 Run on the RMS field until break (WEB Leaders may be called a few minutes prior to the start of the run to be able to mark the route ). 

  • Teachers are asked to either walk/run or to stand on the side and cheer runners on.

  • Terry Fox - The Greatest Canadian this video could be watched anytime or between morning break and lunch if you want something for this time with your CORE students.

  • TERRY FOX: THE POWER OF ONE is another option. This one is almost an hour.

  • Super Hero vs Real Hero Lesson/Discussion

    • Use as much or as little of this as you like. It basically compares the characteristics of both types of heroes.
