The MBSS Grad Ceremonies will be held at Mount Boucherie Secondary School.
When: June 14th and 15th
Students will graduate in groups of 60. In April, a signup link will be sent out to students to book their appointments. Signup will be first come/first serve. As we have a large number of graduates participating in this event, no exceptions or special requests can be made.
Grads may bring up to 7 guests. Do not exceed this number. Extra guests will be turned away from the event.
Grads must be in "Good Standing" in order to participate in the grad ceremony. To be in "Good Standing," students must have sufficient credits
-meet all provincial graduation course requirements
- all outstanding fees paid
-return or pay for all overdue or lost library books
**Students had until May 1st to sign-up. Spots are first-come, first -serve. The sign-up link was shared in April. Grads received their grad gown and received grad ceremony information at the grade 12 assembly on May 1st.
*Grads must arrive with their guests a min 15 minutes before their ceremony. You and your guests will check in as a group at the entrance outside the Bear Gym. There are no tickets for this event. Instead, each grad will check in with their guests at this entrance. You must arrive and check in as a group.
*As parking is limited, we strongly encourage you and your guests to carpool. This will save you from the stress of finding a parking spot or waiting on a late family member.
* Arrive wearing your grad gown, v-stole, cap, and tassel.
*Take all your photos with your cap and gown before the ceremony, as grad must return their v-stole as soon as the ceremony ends.
*There is no professional photographer on site, nor are there photo booth areas. All photos must be taken before the event.
*Once the ceremony is over, we kindly ask that you and your guests immediately leave MBSS to free up parking spaces for the next ceremony. It also allows our staff volunteers time to prepare for the next group.
