FYI - This is the start of you demonstrating that you can READ ALL of the instructions!
First you need to set up your computer to properly save your work and retrieve old assignments as needed
From your desktop, double click on "THIS PC"
Go to your H: drive or My Documents -- double click to open.
Right click in the open space and create a New Folder and rename it depending on the course you are in:
Drafting A/B/C
Under this folder create TWO New Folders and rename them Term-1 and Term-2

Use snipping tool to make an image showing you've completed this task and keep it for Part C below.
Going forward.....save EVERYTHING in these folders with the proper name for each assignment.
Click this > Course Outline and File Management Document
This will open a shaded screen where you can't edit the document
On the top right click the download icon and fill out this sheet using WORD ........NOT google
Save it in your TERM 1 folder as “Assign. Number–Assign. name–Your Lastname”
Example: 01-courseoutline-smith.doc
Click the link to open the COURSE OUTLINE
Fill in the document.
Type in your FULL Name and Todays Date. This indicates your understanding of the Course Outline and your acceptance of:
the network use,
evaluation,
expectations,
procedures and,
fire drill procedures
Re-save this filled out document (Ctrl+S).
Send the following email using your @learn google email - correctly filled out (cut and paste in information):
To: Teachers email (ian.whitehead@sd23.bc.ca) *** NOT my '@learn' email
Subject: I have fully read the course outline
Attach a file: Your 01-courseoutline-smith.doc file.
Paste Image: In your email message, paste your image from Part A (above) showing your folders. Use "ctrl" + "v" to paste.
Email Message: (Copy and Paste in)
I have read and understand the course outline and I fully accept the network use, evaluation,
expectations, classroom procedures, student account agreement, and fire drill procedures,
as per the Drafting, Animation, or InfoTech Website.
NOTE: You will be marked only when you have:
Emailed it to your teacher.
