Arts Education Overview

This is a collaborative space where we can build and share arts based lessons and resources that promote student agency by:

• Supporting students in developing a variety of basic art skills so that they have the foundations necessary to branch off and personalize or extend their learning.

• Developing lessons and activities that allow students to leverage their strengths and follow their passions through a variety of mediums and styles (music, dance, visual art, film etc.)

• Embedding inquiry models of learning into arts classes that allow students to pursue their curiosities and design their own learning
