Red words: 

Your child will have a ring with all the red words we have learned so far in the back of their blue folder.  You can practice reading and spelling the words at home, but please make sure they are returned each day since we often use them in class.  

Practice the new red word by tapping it on your arm, writing it in the sky, writing it with your finger on a rug.  Make up a sentence with the new word and write it on a piece of paper or an index card.
