CCSD, in collaboration with the CBE, Microsoft, and The City of Calgary, is pleased to announce Season 2 of the Minecraft design challenge. Through this partnership, Calgary Catholic students will be able to access an immersive educational opportunity that leverages the power of Minecraft Education.
Beginning February 16, the Calgary Level Up Minecraft Design Challenge will provide students with an opportunity to navigate through a customized virtual representation of downtown Calgary, interacting with experts as they consider the Resilient Calgary Strategy and the three resiliences: climate, economic and social. Special NPC players include Mayor Gondek, Councillor Wong, and Calgary Public Library CEO Sarah.
Minecraft: Education Edition is a program that transforms learning into an engaging and fun activity that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment where the only limit is your imagination.
