Tips to Completing the Course

• Work through the course in order; submit each assignment before moving on to the next.

• Complete all coursework, then go back to those items you'd like to improve. You are provided more than one attempt for all assignments--these are completed using the Brightspace Quizzes tool.

• Open 2 tabs to work through the material: one tab for the Google site and one for Brightspace. This makes it easy to find the answers you're looking for when completing the Brightspace assignments. Run your screens side by side for maximum efficiency.

• Make use of tools to support learning. You can add tools to your Chrome browser to help; consider adding extensions like Google Read Aloud, Google Read and Write, Google Translate. Instructions on adding these tools to your browser are available online and may help you move through material more quickly while increasing understanding.

• Definitions: if you encounter an unfamiliar word, try copying and pasting it into Dictionary.com...you don't know what you don't know until you work towards finding the answer.

• When completing the assignments, make the answers your own--include key terms and phrases, but just copying and pasting will not achieve the intended result: learning.
