Exquisite DANCE Corps

'Exquisite Corpse' is a surrealist visual arts game developed at the turn of the 20th century, in which a group of artists would pass around a folded piece of paper, each sketching a part of a figure without seeing what the previous artist drew.

ESDF Board of Directors reached out to Calgary's dance community to participate in a dance version of this surrealist game. This is our way of staying connected and sharing our passion for dance, even though we are physically isolated from one another. This video features some of the ESDF program directors as well as some of Calgary's most prolific dance artists.
