Khan Academy Info:
We will be using Khan Academy for some Instruction/HW for the rest of the school year.
Mr. McLean has created Khan Academy pages for each of his periods. Please login to your correct period with your Learn account. (Login info was e-mailed to your Learn accounts)
When videos are assigned in Khan, watch them and take notes on them on a separate sheet of paper. You will submit pictures of those notes on Google Classroom as usual.
When Homework/Assignments are given in Khan, you will submit your answers via the Khan system (NOT Google Classroom).
To earn credit for a HW/assignment in Khan, you can only miss one question (each Khan activity typically has 4 questions, so 3/4 questions must be correct).
If you miss more than one question in a given HW/Assignment, you can redo the HW/Assignment. There is no penalty for redoing an assignment multiple times.
There are built in help features in Khan. Getting a question correct with Khan's help doesn't count as a correct answer. Correct answers will only be counted WITHOUT Khan's help. With that said, please use the help buttons when needed, they are really useful!

Tuesday April 7th:
1. Log into Mr. McLean's Khan Academy page for your period and take notes on the 4 videos assigned (your login info has been e-mailed to your Learn account). Remember to take a picture of your notes and submit it via Google Classroom. Notes for all 4 videos can be done on the same paper.
2. HW #5: Complete the 4 problem sets assigned in Khan Academy (16 questions total, all dealing with circles) - NOTE: Please see the Khan Academy Info listed above for further information on these assignments.
Thursday April 9th:
1. Lesson/CW: None
2. HW #6: Complete the 4 new problem sets in Khan Academy (there are no videos assigned today)
Turn in pictures of "Video Notes" on Google Classroom, and complete all other assignments in Khan Academy.

Show all work on a separate piece of paper. You need to get a minimum of 17 (out of 20) questions correct for full credit. You can retake the quiz multiple times to do so.
NOTE: Quizizz is new to us, please be patient as we roll this out, and please sign up for it with your Learn account information so we know who you are

1. Start working on Area/Volume Project (UPDATED 6/1) - this is the CW/HW for the rest of the school year.
This is a challenging project. It is due Wednesday June 10th (a link to submit will be posted on Google Classroom in early June). Each question is worth 5 points, and there are 10 questions so this is a 50 point project. You must submit answers, pictures of all work, and write detailed explanations of how you answered each question.
