For students interested in earning the Congressional Award, there is a great opportunity this summer to earn 100 volunteer hours in the Los Angeles area (Compton) with Access Books. You would help organize underserved school libraries, Monday - Thursday, 9 am to 1:00 pm. If you are interested, please email annemarie@accessbooks.net
Wondering how you could volunteer at camp? Signing up for our CIT Program is a great way to have a positive impact while volunteering!
CIT applications are open to incoming 9th graders and up! We require that to participate in the volunteer program, CIT's commit to at least 2 weeks worth of volunteering time (does not need to be consecutive). CIT's do not volunteer on Wednesdays as camp will be on a field trip.
Do you enjoy books and connecting with your community? Would you like to earn community service hours this summer? Come volunteer at the Westlake Village Book Nook to help customers find books, check them out, and process and price book donations.
Preferred availability Wednesdays 11:30 am - 3 pm.
Reach out to Joan Broderick - Manager, Westlake Village Library Book Nook for more information. booknookwestlake@gmail.com
