Welcome GATE Students

Hello everyone and welcome! This is a location to help organize our upcoming events, get feedback on interests, and ultimately create a more active GATE community.

My name is Thomas Smith and I have been teaching at TO for 14 years. I teach English, this year 10 CP, 12 CP, and 11 AP. Over the past 14 years, I have held many titles on campus. I was the Head Swim Coach for nine years, Girls' Water Polo Coach for four years, and assistant Boys' Water Polo Coach for three years. I am also a co-lead with the TOHS Writing Center, led by Mrs. Glusac-Wood, and I was the Majors Coordinator for Public Services with focus on Public Safety for two years. 

 It is our goal, through GATE, to build a community of support based on mutual respect and fun/interesting events. That can only happen with your participation and help with the process. 

Please check the "To Do List" and complete the "Interest Survey" and "Time availability". All the "Upcoming Events" are dates TBA until I get feedback on interests from all of you.
