The requirements set by the CVUSD Board of Education to maintain a satisfactory record of attendance as stated in the Senior Class Activities/Graduation Participation Contract provided to seniors and signed at the beginning of the school year state:
Failure to maintain satisfactory attendance (missing 20% or more of the 2nd semester) will result in my exclusion from all senior activities, including the graduation ceremony.

GRADUATION FAQ’S
How many tickets to the graduation ceremony can I get?
Starting in early April and going through the end of May, tickets go on sale at the Student Store and online. As in years past, each senior will receive two complimentary tickets. Families may purchase up to eight additional tickets at $15 each. After all purchased graduation tickets have been distributed to seniors, any additional tickets will be available for purchase on June 9th after graduation practice (cash only). If there are any remaining tickets, they will be sold at the stadium gate at the graduation ceremony. Please remember that there will be no refunds on graduation tickets.
My sibling graduated from Thousand Oaks High School 2 or more years ago, can I use their cap and gown?
No. The cap and gown changed (both color and style) with the class of 2025. You will need to order the current cap & gown from Jostens. For more information and the link to order, please see above.
I ordered or requested a loaner cap and gown. When will I receive it?
Once the order has been processed, you and your parents will receive an email from the Activities Office, with the date and time that you can pick up your cap and gown. The email is sent to your learn account and whatever email is listed in Q for your parents. Typically, it is at lunchtime in the Student Store, so plan accordingly. Cap & gown returns will be on Friday, June 12 from 8:30-11:30am in the MPR.
I purchased a parking pass for graduation. How will I receive it?
You will receive an email from the Activities Office letting you know the date and time to pick up your pass. The date of pick up is usually the Monday before graduation.
I purchased my graduation tickets, when will I receive them?
Graduation tickets (including the 2 complimentary tickets for each senior) will be distributed at the end of the 2nd day of graduation practice. Any additional grad packet tickets that were purchased will be included in your students’ ticket envelope.
I submitted a request for assisted seating on the track. Do I need to purchase a ticket?
Yes, you need to purchase a ticket for each person in the assisted seating area. Up to 4 purchased general admission tickets will be changed to 4 field seating tickets. When the person/group of 4 arrives at the stadium, they will be directed to our assisted seating section. Each seat will be labeled with the senior’s name. We will do our best to ensure you are seated on the same side and close to where your student is seated for graduation. We cannot accommodate more than 4 people.
I purchased VIP tickets for seats on the track and parking. When will I get my parking pass? When will I get my tickets? How will I know where my seats are?
You will receive an email from activities letting you know the date and time to pick up your parking pass. The date of pick up is usually the Monday before graduation.
Your tickets will be labeled field seating and will be included in your senior’s ticket envelope that they will receive at the end of the 2nd day of grad practice.
When the person/group of 4 arrives at the stadium, they will be directed to our assisted seating section. Each seat will be labeled with the senior’s name. We will do our best to ensure you are seated close to where your student is seated for graduation. You will be on the same side as your graduate.
Can I bring an umbrella to the graduation ceremony?
You can bring an umbrella to use before the ceremony. However, for the safety and experience for our guests, all umbrellas must be closed once the ceremony starts.
