It is with great appreciation and excitement that I find myself in my eighteenth year teaching, and fifth year at Sycamore Canyon School. My journey into pursuing a career in education began when I graduated from California State University Channel Islands Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies as well as earning the First "Multicultural Perspectives Award", then I pursued both a teaching credential and Masters of Arts Degree in Education from Pepperdine University. My career has allowed me the opportunity to teach many courses among those: 7th and 8th grade mathematics, 7th grade math in Spanish, "Math in the Real World" Elective, a summer exploratory math course for middle school students through Oxnard College, 7th Grade Advanced mathematics and Algebra 1 CP.
My husband and have three boys and a little doggie that keep us very busy with beach trips, soccer, swimming and hiking.
