Social Studies 6.1

2020-2021 School Year

Date: August 19, 2020

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Welcome to the new school year!  I am very pleased to inform you that I will be your child’s teacher this year. I want to take this time to thank you for allowing me this great opportunity to work with your child.

Please take time to read and discuss this letter with your child.  Please also have your son/daughter check his/her Google email. I will be sending the class a welcome email.

Attendance

Students are strongly discouraged from missing class. Students explore and discover important concepts in class. Absences interfere with the comprehension and progress necessary to successfully complete the course. I will follow the established school wide rules for classroom attendance and tardiness.

If your student will be absent or will need to leave class early, please contact me via email. In addition, please contact your home school/school of origin’s front office.

Please have your son/daughter use the following to log into our Zoom class meeting:

Grading Policy
