Grades K-2

Start building a foundation of great digital citizenship skills by reinforcing the ideas of kindness, curiosity, and safety that permeate early elementary education. These age-appropriate, 45-minute lessons introduce young learners to concrete concepts and behaviors within the abstract world of digital literacy and citizenship. The full curriculum offers 15 lessons that delve into the basics of Internet safety, privacy, and security; introducing concepts of information literacy; and emphasizing online interpersonal skills.

Staying Safe Online — Digital Lesson link. How do you stay safe when you visit websites? Students understand that they should stay safe online by choosing websites that are good for them to visit, and avoid sites that are not appropriate for them.
