Accidents happen...often in the middle of the night by no one in particular. Now what do you do?
You could go out and find similar racking components, take everything down and replace the damaged uprights, or you could repair only the part that is damaged using Lean Materials Handling's innovative certified rack repair system.
Step 1: Identify the damage. Note the size of the existing upright frame and location of the damage. Measure all features of the rack.
Step 2: Attach jig to the rack upright. Secure damaged upright and raise the frame 1" off the ground.
Step 3: Cut out damaged rack and replace it with a stronger, reinforced replacement kit.
Step 4: Bolt new and existing racking components together, then re-anchor using seismically approved anchors.
