Check with Just Serve for project ideas in your area. Simply put in your zip code and a list of opportunities will appear.
Animal Shelters - some shelters require age minimums and training. You may need a parent with you as well.

Food Banks - many local food banks need volunteers to help sort and package food donations. Some may require a parent to accompany you or may have age requirements.

Community Clean-up: You can easily serve by going to a local park and help clean up trash. Remember to wear gloves and go with an adult. Never pick up trash that could be unsafe or harmful.

Helping Teachers: A lot of your teachers (and former teachers) may need assistance in their classrooms. All you need to do is ask!
