2021-2022 World History Syllabus
Course Description
World History is a predominantly 10th grade course that covers world history from the first civilizations to the present. Students should expect to be challenged in developing their analytical thinking, reading, listening and writing skills in preparation for the fall and spring test and overall preparation for entering college.

50% Tests/Projects
30% Daily Assignments
20% Quizzes
Retake / Redo Policy
Any test or quiz may be improved to up to 80%.
Test grades below 80% may be improved by doing test corrections. Test review must be completed in order to do test retakes/redos
Test grades above 80% may receive 10 additional points by completing a one-page essay and submitting this assignment into turnitin.com.
Quizzes may be redone to up to 80%
You have five days after receiving your test grade to complete the retake /redo.
Late Work
Students submitting daily assignments following completion of the unit will receive a grade of up to 80%.
