Thank you for your interest in the PALs program for the 2026-27 school year!
We want you to be aware of what PALS is and what all is expected so you will understand the objective of the PALS organization. PALS is a national organization designed with the idea that peers can make a profound impact on others. We are a service, leadership, and mentorship program which promotes the development of personal skills to help create more positive and productive school environments and students!
Our biggest role, however, is to model healthy decision-making skills and be a positive helpful force in the world!
In the PALS program, students are held to a higher standard and are expected to uphold professional employability (GRADES, ATTENDANCE, DISCIPLINE) skills. They are also trained to serve as peer helpers with younger students on their own campus and/or younger students from feeder schools. They are assigned one mentees for the year, and commit to visit each for 30 minutes every week during class time. We also regularly spend class time volunteering in our community. All PALS must also complete 4 hours of community service outside of class time each 6 weeks.
Above all, a peer helper must genuinely care about others and seeks to positively impact the world around us!
Since PALs is a servant-minded organization based on healthy choices and positive role modeling, we ask that all PALs and their parents/guardians sign a contract stating their awareness of the importance of positive role modeling, not only in the school, but out in the community as well.
