My name is Allison Forward and I am one of the Quest Teachers Tarvin Elementary. I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but grew up in Round Rock and Cedar Park. I graduated from Cedar Park High School in 2009 where I was in band and played basketball. I attended Texas State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2015. This is my 11th year teaching in LISD. I taught third grade for 6 years at Parkside Elementary, 1 year of 4th grade at Tarvin, and this will be my 4th year teaching Quest.
My husband Eric and I have been married for 9 years. We have a 7 year old daughter name Avery and a 1 year old son named Elias! We also have one fur baby named Zoey. In my free time I enjoy spending time outside, shopping, watching movies, and attending sporting events. I am a born and raised Longhorn fan even though I did not attend UT (Thanks Dad!). Some of my favorite memories are from watching the Horns at DKR and at the Erwin Center. We are a huge board game family! Ticket to Ride, Connect Four, Sequence, and Phase 10 are some of our favorite games to play.
I am honored to have the opportunity to teach Quest at Tarvin. My goal is to create a safe and fun learning environment for ALL students. We will set high goals and push each other to reach them. We will take risks and learn from our mistakes. We will find our gifts and fuel our passions and interests. Most of all I will support your child to reach their full potential anyway I can. I cannot wait to get to know you and your families, and continue to grow our Tarvin community. I look FORWARD to an amazing year!
