In 1998, I graduated from Texas State University where I majored in Early Childhood Education. While at Texas State (Southwest Texas back then), I was a Texas State Strutter for 3 years. In 2003, I married my husband, Brian. We have since had two children, Braden (19) & Kinsley (17).
This picture makes me laugh every time. It pretty much sums up their personalities.
In the summer of 2016 we got our other baby, Brinkley, a miniature Schnauzer. It always cracks me up when I see her laying on the floor with her legs sprawled out behind her. Aside from the barking, she is a great dog! We have even trained her to ring a bell to go outside, sit, lay down, roll over, spin, and give a high five!
In my spare time you'll usually catch me attending my kid's various school activities. My son, Braden, loves to play football, lift weights, and fish. He is going into his second year of college at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where he plays football and is majoring in Business Management.
My daughter, Kinsley, is going into the 12th grade at Vista Ridge. She loves driving around everywhere (now that she has her license), hanging out with her friends, going to concerts, tanning by the pool, and her job at Hotworx in Leander. She recently got her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant certification) and is planning to pursue a degree in nursing (and eventually become a Nurse Anethesthetist). She will be graduating early in December of 2026.
During the summers we love to travel and spend time together.
I'm so excited about our little Family & Consumer Science Department this year!
It is going to be another great year!!!
