Meet The Crew at South PAC

The South Performing Arts Center is led by the PAC Manager and powered by a dedicated crew of student interns. These students generously give their time and talents to ensure that every concert and performance in the PAC runs smoothly and professionally. Drawing on the foundational skills gained in their tech theater classes, they continue to grow through advanced, hands-on learning experiences.

Under the guidance of the PAC Manager, each intern serves as a Stagehand while also pursuing a specialized area of interest to deepen their expertise. From behind the scenes, these interns quite literally “run the show” for all LISD events and rentals—supporting nearly 120 performances each school year with professionalism, pride, and precision.

Brian Becker - PAC Manager

Brian joined the South PAC at the start of the 2024–2025 school year and has since led numerous improvements to both the facility and its day-to-day operations. He has also restructured the Intern Program, providing students with expanded hands-on training opportunities and direct engagement with industry professionals.

Before joining LISD, Brian brought his expertise to 33 Broadway National Tours (through IATSE), The Florida Orchestra, cruise lines, theme parks, concerts, dance competitions, and more. He now leverages his wide-ranging experience to enrich student learning and elevate the overall function and professionalism of the South PAC.
