Hello AP Chemistry students, families, and friends!

Hook 'em - I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, class of 2013. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Most recently, I graduated from Lamar University with my Master's in Educational Administration. On a more personal note, I recently got married! I am obsessed with food and love to explore new restaurants across the area - if you're a sushi lover, I know the perfect place.

For the last nine years, I've worked at Rouse High School teaching Chemistry and coaching volleyball and girls' basketball. During my time here, I've focused on providing students with learning experiences that tap into their curiosity. Science is not just a course, but a way to explore the world. Over the next year, I will be preparing students to ace their AP Chemistry exam and encourage them to fail forward. Learning is a skill. Students will be challenged to think outside the box. My hope for this next year is that students find a passion for learning that extends outside of Rouse High School.
