Only LISD approved cords, stoles, and medals are allowed to be worn at graduation.
Recognition is given to seniors who graduate on the LISD Distinguished with Honors Plan as a Texas Scholar. Texas Scholar Medals will be distributed to seniors at graduation practice.

Hours
Senioritis can be a very real thing but remember, your attendance still matters! Make sure you're staying on top of your hours and not accruing more as you make it to the finish line.
Attending Prom? Hours must be cleared by April 5th to receive your prom ticket!
Hours v. Truancy
In extenuating circumstances, students may file an Attendance Appeal form to their Assistant Principal. The Appeal form should be a summary of the circumstance and attach any additional documentation, such as doctor notes, as appropriate. The Attendance Appeal Committee will take your form, documentation (be sure to include!), and circumstance into consideration for their decision.
Hours for graduation/diploma eligibility are due May 17th!
Project Grad 2024
Senior Celebration (formerly known as Project Grad) will be overnight at Twin Lakes YMCA on May 25-26.
More event details TBA!
Project Grad is getting ready for the senior celebration! If you or a business are able, please consider supporting one of the Amazon Wish List prizes for our senior. The goal is that all seniors will go home with a prize to support them in their next steps after graduation.
FAFSA / TASFA / Opt-Out
FAFSA/TASFA is a Texas High School Graduation Requirement. If you are enlisting In the military, or for whatever reason are not filling out the FAFSA/TASFA, you can complete the Opt-Out form with Mr. Nelson.
