I am honored to be your AVID and Extensions teacher, and partner with you in your education. 

This is my 17th year as a public educator.  I am a teacher born out of a true passion to inspire lifelong learners and share my rich life experience. I previously served on Capitol Hill, in a presidential administration, and several Washington lobbying organizations before spending 12 years as a stay-at-home mom to my sons Drew (28) and Dylan (24). Both of my sons are products of LISD and graduated from Cedar Park High School. I am the loudest cheerleader of the opportunities that LISD affords our students! Drew is a 2020 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Business.  He is a mechanical engineer with General Atomics in San Diego.  Dylan is a 2024 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and is currently in flight school in Alabama while completing his masters in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech.  My husband, David, and I have been married for 36 years! I hold a BA from the University of Texas in Plan II Honors and a Masters Degree in Public Administration/International Management (MPA) from George Mason University.
