Hello! My name is Lareina Curtis-Wellings. I've been a teacher and librarian at Steiner Ranch Elementary for 21 years, and this will be my fourth year as a librarian in LISD. I've been an educator in California and Texas for 23 years teaching 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades before becoming a school librarian. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2024 with my Masters in Library Science and San Diego State University in 2001 with my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and Elementary Teaching Certification.
