Interested in Starting a New Club at RHS?
Great! Here’s how to get started.
Do you have an original club idea that isn’t already offered? First, check the RHS Clubs site to see our current list.
Please note: There is a process to begin a new club; more information will be in the announcements. There is an interest meeting each semester, and attendance is mandatory. We encourage students to consider student-led clubs that focus on volunteer service, student interest, and are student-led.
If your idea meets these guidelines, follow the new club process steps below to begin the new club approval process. we will NOT BE ACCEPTING NEW COMPETITIVE CLUBS FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR. If you wish to be a member of a competitive club, please check out the website and Club Stop boards in the main building and cafeteria.

STEP 1- HAVE AN UNIQUE CLUB IDEA THAT IS NON-COMPETITIVE
Check out the RHS Clubs page to ensure your idea is original.
STEP 2- FIND A RHS TEACHER CLUB SPONSOR
Before proposing a new club, you must secure a Rouse teacher to serve as your club sponsor. It’s important to begin this step early to ensure you have enough time to find a willing sponsor.
A sponsor must be confirmed before you attend the New Club Proposal Meeting.
STEP 3- ATTEND AN OFFICIAL CLUB MEETING
Mandatory meetings for students interested in proposing a new club will be offered once each Semester. Meeting dates will be announced during Advocate prior to each session.
During the meeting, important information about the new club proposal process will be shared, including expectations and guidelines. Students whose club ideas meet the criteria will be invited to move on to the next steps.
STEP 4- SUBMIT A SLIDE TO THE COMMITTEE STATING THE PURPOSE AND OJECTIVE OF YOUR CLUB. lINK WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE NEW CLUB PROPOSAL MEETING.
STEP 5- APPROVAL COMMITTEE WILL REVIEW (You will be notified ON YOUR PROPOSAL SIDE.
