About Me

 I am excited to be teaching Astronomy and coaching Boys Soccer here at The Ridge!  This is my 7th year at Vista Ridge and my 32nd year in education.  I earned my Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science Degree from Southwest Texas State University after graduating from Hondo High School.   I have taught and coached at New Braunfels Canyon H.S., Pflugerville H.S., Hendrickson H.S. and, Anderson H.S.   My wife, Dana, is a school psychologist for Austin ISD and 2 of our 4 children currently attend LISD schools. Our two older children graduated from Vista Ridge  and are  currently working on their bachelor's and master's degrees.    It is going to be a Great Year at the Ridge!
