Every Friday, I will be selecting one or two students from each block to receive something special: Happy Mail! This is a small but meaningful way to celebrate students who have demonstrated outstanding qualities throughout the week. These students will be chosen based on a variety of positive characteristics, including their effort, kindness, and perseverance. I’ll also be looking for those who model our classroom's guiding principles— Respectful, Responsible, Engaged.
In addition to personal character, I’ll be paying close attention to academic and social growth. That might mean taking initiative on an assignment, making progress in a subject they've been working hard on, or stepping out of their comfort zone to support a classmate.
Happy Mail is a way for me to recognize and celebrate the everyday greatness happening in our classroom. I can’t wait to highlight the wonderful things that happen this year!
