About Me

Hi, I'm Mrs. English! I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade ELA this year!! This will be my sixthyear as an educator. I am passionate about teaching students how to critically think and how to become the best version of themselves. I am recently married to my husband, Coach English, who teaches P.E. at Winkley Elementary. We have a 10 month old daughter named Amelia and two Sheepadoodle puppies! Piper is 4 and Biscuit is 2 years old. I enjoy exercising, reading, playing pickleball, board games, baking sourdough, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. I can't wait to get the year started with you!

Fun Facts about Mrs. English:

-I attended Rutledge elementary school as a student

-I taught 3rd grade at Rutledge

-I attended Henry Middle School as a student

-I taught 5th grade in Johnson City ISD

-My favorite foods are sushi and Thai food

-I recently got into thrifting and love exploring at Goodwill/thrift stores

-Another favorite store of mine is Hobby Lobby. I love their scrapbook selection and home decor. I could spend hours in there!!

-I love coffee

-My favorite color is pink
