I graduated from Texas A&M (WHOOP!) with a Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Science/ Education. I have a M.Ed. in Educational Administration through Lamar University. I have a strong background in both plant and animal science, as well as FFA related activities. I have a passion for helping students achieve their goals and aspirations through Agricultural Education and I am excited to start another year at Vandegrift High School!
I dedicate a lot of time to FFA activities outside of school, but you can otherwise find me at the dirt track with my husband or with my niece and nephew! We have two dogs, Simi and Billie, and inherited an outdoor cat, Jack, when we bought our land. I flower for weddings and events separate from the VHS floral program, so flowers are my life inside and outside of school!
All of my classes are very hands-on and interactive and I love to share what we do with supporters outside of the class!
