Apps/Websites Provided by the District for Asychonorus Learning At Home:
If on laptop or Chromebook,
Type in their LISD username (lastname_IDnumber) & password (yyyymmdd) and sign in.
If on tablet or iPad, download the ClassLink app from the App Store and use the classlink instructions below.
USERNAME: lastname_ID# / PASSWORD: yyyymmdd (their birthday)
*Their username is the first 8 letters of their last name, if it is longer than 8 letters. EX: If my last name was Williamson, my username would be: williams_IDnumber. The username is all lowercase letters.
Classlink is an app from the App Store that we as a QR code scanner for the student to get access to the Leander ISD Launchpad without having to type in their information every time.
If on tablet or iPad,
Classlink is an app. First, click the 4 blue squares under to access camera. Then, scan the QR code. Click on desired app to launch the app logged in. You must have the apps pre-downloaded (download iStation, Dreambox from app store).
If on laptop or Chromebook, use the Leander Launchpad website URL to login and use instructions from above.
*This is only for scanning the personalized QR code. Their launchpad log info will not work on Classlink's log in page.
iStation is a website and/or app provided by LISD used for monthly phonemic awareness assessing and daily practice of phonics and reading skills. Please avoid using this the first week of every month.
iStation log in is accessed through the Leander Launchpad and Classlink.
(If using iPad/tablet - (MUST FIRST HAVE iSTATION DOWNLOADED FROM APP STORE))
1. Sign in on Launchpad or use QR code on the Classlink app to get on to the Launchpad
2. Find the iStation app icon and click on it
3. iStation should automatically prompt open the app and log your student in
4. Click "Reading" to begin / DO NOT USE THE ISIP BUTTON!!
When done, students will click red "stop" button for it to save their progress.
Dreambox is a website and/or app provided by LISD for daily practice of mathematic skills taught in Kindergarten.
Dreambox log in is accessed through the Leander Launchpad and Classlink.
(If using iPad/tablet - (MUST FIRST HAVE DREAMBOX DOWNLOADED FROM APP STORE))
1. Sign in or use QR code on Classlink to get on to the Launchpad
2. Find the Dreambox app and click on it
3. Dreambox should automatically prompt open the website/app and log your student in
4. Their name should appear in the left hand corner and they should hear a voice telling them "Welcome to the Dreambox Neighborhood!"

Epic is an app and/or website that gives student access during school hours to thousands of amazing books to read. This is our class code provided below for them to access their school account. Unfornately, Epic does not give access outside of school hours. If you would like your child to have access during home hours, you can get an at-home subscription. Kodable is an app that gives students the opportunity to learn how to code through fun and interactive games and activities. Unfornately, Kodable is not free outside of school hours as well.
